Origin: Coordinate (0,0) on the xy-plane
Quadrant: An area of the xy-plane. There are 4 quadrants based on whether the x or y coordinate is positive or negative.
Slope: “Steepness” of a line aka “rise over run” denoted with the letter m
X-axis: The line on the xy-plane that runs horizontally through 0
Y-axis: The line on the xy-plane that runs vertically through 0
Y-intercept: The y-coordinate of a line when the x-coordinate equals 0
Constant: An unchanging number
